Bassem graduated in medicine and has worked in clinical medicine as an oncologist, in academia, and in the pharmaceutical industry over the past 20 years. His experience has been primarily in oncology, pharmacovigilance, clinical research, and lab research. He holds an MSc degree in Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Oxford, UK and an MSc degree in Experimental Medicine at McGill University, Canada. He is a Ph.D. candidate in health technology assessment at the University of Toronto, Canada. Bassem is a pharmacovigilance consultant, a clinical research instructor, a graduate teaching assistant, and a lead medical writer at the University of Toronto, Canada. Bassem’s areas of research are health technology assessment, decision analysis, and benefit-risk assessment.

Shahira Eltaher has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 15 years with diversity in exposure to different aspects of healthcare, ranging from practicing medicine to liaison with multinational pharmaceutical companies and PCT Healthcare Ltd, one of the UK's leading retail pharmacies, then shifting career to be a healthcare specialist working in close proximity to cosmopolitan communities, making sure to guide, record, and give primary healthcare advice at different levels of patient and public needs
Reallocating to Egypt combining all these different exposures to strategically initiate, manage, implement, and recruit different healthcare projects not only in Egypt but everywhere across the globe, through learning community healthcare gaps and needs, implementing process improvement, benchmarking for leading practices, organizational improvement, learning design and development, and changing management. Given the critical need of today for organizations to develop a talented workforce and a successful healthy community, a collaborative approach of truly partnering with clients and a strong focus on change management to provide excellent service and results. Katreen Mikhail graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science majoring in chemistry and biochemistry – Pre-medical from Montana State University, USA. She took part in the research experience for undergraduates (REU) where she worked on different biological and biochemical research projects. Moreover, Katreen participated in clinical trials where she had experience in the fields of clinical research and data management. She had a couple of internships at different hospitals where she helped with data collection and analysis to achieve valid results. She also has experience in medical writing. Katreen's areas of research include health research evaluation and assessment.

Gamal Eldein has graduated in biological sciences and has worked in cancer biology and anti-cancer drug development as a researcher, in academia, and in the pharmaceutical industry over the past 15 years. His experience has been primarily in oncology, molecular medicine, metabolomics, lab research and animal research. He holds an MSc degree in Physiology at Beni-Suef University, Egypt, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine at Torino University, Italy and Integrated Molecular Physiology at Cairo University, Egypt. He is a research fellow in Basic Science Cancer Research at Salamanca University, Spain. Gamal Eldein is a molecular medicine consultant, a lead medical writer, a peer reviewer, and a metabolomics expert at the National Research Centre, Egypt. Gamal Eldein's areas of research are cancer biology, metabolomics analysis, molecular biology techniques, and xenograft models.

Nermin Osman graduated in Medicine, she is a Ph.D. holder and staff member of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Statistics at the Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University, Egypt. She mastered a degree in Public Health Policy as a joint degree with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) after being selected as the United Nations System Staff College Intern in 2017. She has worked in the field of epidemiological studies and statistics over the past 10 years. She is a research fellow in the Data Science Institute, Imperial College London, UK. Nermin is a biostatistician, research methodology consultant, and a clinical research instructor; she has shared in many research projects related to the World Health Organization, International Labor Office, United Nations Statistics Division, and Erasmus Plus. Nermin’s areas of research are epidemiological surveys, clinical trials, critical appraisal of different studies, big data analysis, and statistical modelling.

Nermeen Ashoush graduated in pharmacy and is working as an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Department and Head of Health Economics Unit, Center for Drug Research and Development, The British University in Egypt. She earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Clinical Pharmacy Practice from Ain Shams University. She studied Health Economics and Outcomes Research at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington and has several publications in prominent clinical pharmacy and health economics journals as well as co-authored a book in Market Access, Pharmaceutical Pricing and Healthcare Costs. She has been an invited speaker to several workshops in Health Economics and Outcome Research in the MENA region and an invited speaker to several international conferences. Nermeen’s areas of research are clinical trials,
economic modelling, health technology assessment, budget impact analysis and health policy.
